Unilorin cut off marks and admission stuffs

Good morning friends. Due to the fact that most prospective students of Unilorin have been clamoring for details on the possible cut off marks for this year's admission even though Utme said the bench mark for this year for Universities in Nigeria is 180, while for polytechnics and colleges of education is 160. I'm sure you must have heard about that.

Cut off mark for unilorin last session 2011/2012 was 200 for most courses, but for all engineering courses and all the competitive courses like economics, Industrial Chemistry, Geology, etc, it was 220 while Medicine was 240. That was the same 2 years ago. But that of this year is not yet out and it's been presumed that it'll be exactly the same. Maybe that's due to the fact that the current Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede is possibly overseeing this 2012/2013 admissions even though he's supposed to be leaving the post this year. He's known for his strict adherence to following due process and raising high ethical standards in most situations. So for all Better by Far aspirants, I'll advise you score generally above 220 in Jamb and during your post utme, shoot for 70 and above. That's what may likely guarantee your safe passage into Unilorin- one of the best universities in Nigeria.

For those who may need help with admission stuffs, please don't fall for scams as admission processing issues are not that easy in Unilorin. That's the simple truth. Nobody can guarantee you any admission. They can only try their best which is not certain at all. There have been issues in the past that even professors couldn't get admission for those who they promised. So don't fall for any maga rubbish. Abi no be sharp guys and girls you be ni?

We're currently looking into the issue now and when we're through with our finding, we shall update you with the relevant information about it.
