Transportation issue now better with the resumption of SafeTrip Buses!
It is still about #50 to #70 naira.
->Buses from Challenge- now #80 to #100.
->Taxis from Challenge- #100 to #150.
->Small buses from Tanke still #40.
->Taxis from Tanke to school now #60.
->School bus aka- #LongerbyFar- still #20 from Tanke to school and back.
We are so grateful once more to SUG executives for their selfless attitude and service to all students which is evidently shown in the way they respond quickly to the transportation issue on Ground. But we sincerely want to urge them to please try to regulate the Transport fares especially for those coming from Challenge.
Also we are using this medium to make an appeal to our dear Cadets and the SUG executives to please treat Students with more courtesy. Please, you're students as much as they are. The reason why this is being brought up is due to various misunderstandings that have been occurring between Cadets and Students. One of such almost led to a fight inside the School Bus LongerbyFar yesternight. We'll be grateful if something can be done about it.
Gist- GNS Curriculum Reviewed and Repackaged. The General Studies Course curriculum for Freshers have been reviewed and new topics have been added. We don't yet have full info about it but soon we'll get you the details. It seems like the Textbook for it will also change. The info came on board yesterday when students learnt that the topic they were taught on Monday 29 October was not found in the Textbook used for the previous section.
