The University of Ilorin in it giant strides to Maintain its leadership as the BETTER BY FAR University in Nigeria especially in the area of I.T. Development has added yet another feather to its cap. Now All Students and Staff of the University community can now access the Google apps domain already added to the school website at www.unilorin.edu.ng .
We however noted that not all students have been able login due to ignorance of the standard procedures to enjoy the facilities put in place by the school. Very soon, as announced by the school management, students will be able to communicate directly with their lecturers via Google apps. Smartboards too will soon be in place to replace chalkboards or markerboards currently being used.
In light of that, we at UnilorinGist have put together the simple steps for login in to the Google Apps site.
Steps To Follow for Login in to Google Apps On Unilorin Portal
1. Visit www.unilorin.edu.ng and you will see something like this>>>>>
Then click on Login Students here and that will take you to the next page where you will now login in to the google apps site.
2. Now, how do you know your user name and password?
It's simple. Your matric number is your username, but you will change the slash (/) to hypen (-)
For example, 12/22ek089 will become 12-22ek089. Then your email will be 12-22ek089@students.unilorin.edu.ng Hope you get it?
Now your password is the default password which is stdunilorin$2013 .
You will then input that into the box containing email and password and the rest configuration is up to you.
